Privacy policy

Richard Cheeseburger's Music Trivia Mayhem™ ("the game") is made by What It Is What It Do LLC ("we"). We keep as little about you as we can.
Playing on your own device
Your name, your character, your settings, your scores and the photo you choose for your profile are saved on your device. Your photo never leaves it.
Your account and online play
To play online, and to keep your scores on the worldwide leaderboards, you sign in with Apple and pick a username. It's the same account as Richard Cheeseburger's Double Take™. We keep:
- your username and the character you choose,
- the ID Sign in with Apple gives us for you (it isn't your email or Apple ID),
- your show results (money won, right and wrong answers, Final Mayhem wagers, how long you played), for the leaderboards,
- which questions and categories you've had, so they don't repeat until you've seen them all,
- a random key each of your devices remembers, so you stay signed in (we store only a scrambled copy of it).
We use these only to run your account, online play, the leaderboards and the no-repeat question list. We don't ask for your email, phone number or a password, we don't track your location, we don't sell anything about you, and there are no ads or ad trackers. Other players see your username and character, and the leaderboards show your username with your best numbers.
Usernames
Your username is yours alone: nobody else can use it, on any device. You can change it once; after that it's locked. A username that's been let go of (changed, reported off, or its account deleted) is retired for good, so nobody can ever pose as you.
Purchases
Buying the full show is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; Apple only tells the game what you own.
Voices
Richard's and Gus's voices are recordings that come with the game. Your name is never sent anywhere to be spoken.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Profile and tap Delete Account. Your account is deleted right away: your username, your sign-in, your results and your question history. Your username is retired so nobody else can take it. Your purchase stays with your Apple ID. You can also email us to ask.
Backups and servers
The game runs on our own server. We keep backups of the game database for a few days so a broken disk can't erase the leaderboards.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information beyond the username a player picks and the sign-in ID that goes with it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions? Email support@rcdoubletake.com.
